Cegelec Facilities Management activities taken over in Germany

Faceo takes over Cegelec’s technical facility management activities with an asset deal allowing Cegelec to concentrate on its core business.

Faceo Germany, based in Korntal-Münchingen, has taken over the running of the technical facility management facility from Cegelec Anlagen - und Automatisierungstechnik GmbH und Co. KG which is based in Frankfurt. The service contracts extend primarily to Berlin and surrounding countryside. They involve private, commercial and public customers.

From Cegelec’s view, the field of pure building management fits well with Faceo’s Portfolio. Cegelec itself wants to concentrate on its three main core businesses, Integrating Technological Solutions, Systems in Industry and Services (Global Maintenance) and will remain active in the area of industrial maintenance.

With this takeover Faceo has expanded its presence in Berlin and strengthens its competences in the technical area at the same time. This investment in Germany is another important step which continues to see rapid international strategic growth of the Faceo Group. The acquisition still remains under reserve of the trust authorities’ approval.
