Following a tender process, the Quai Branly Museum in Paris (France) has decided to entrust the total facilities services of the site to Faceo. The new contract took effect on October 1st 2009, with a duration of at least 38 months.
Faceo responded to the call for tenders for the entire area, which includes reception of visitors, cleaning services, technical maintenance services, security services and information systems management. Benefiting from its experience on this site, Faceo made an innovative facility management proposal whose ultimate aim was "the enchantment of the visitor".
This strategy implies for Faceo a fine management of its offering flexibility to adjust to the variability of demand (number and type of visitors, time slots, events...). It also implies a very specific model of governance. The whole process has been formalized and mapped with a clear distinction between "front public" processes and "back support" processes. The management of the whole process is done with the support of a planning unit whose objective is to continuously adjust the level of service according to the level of activity.
It's no simple matter when you consider that the Quai Branly museum has an area of 40 600 m2 distributed over 4 buildings and a garden of 18 000 m2, and it welcomes every month since its opening more than 125 000 people...
